Background: A medical supply company wanted a refresh of their areas of differentiation & shortfalls versus two key competitors.

Research Approach: In-depth interviews with current customers of both the client brand & competitive brand were interviewed.

Impact: The client received valuable feedback on their brand image vs. competitors, aspects of the customer journey that could be improved or exploited, and areas of performance to contemplate offering improvements.

Product Development Strategy

Background: A CPG brand wanted to use customer insights to quickly develop and launch a new offering to counter existing SKUs offered by a key competitor.

Research Approach: An online discussion board with purchasers and users of the category was used to first understand unmet needs, then to iterate on product concepts over several phases of concept exposure & iteration.

Research Approach: A blend of qualitative interviews with a quantitative brand imagery & performance survey were used to deeply understand true within-category brand performance and decouple brand halo effects.
